Deploy the TRIVLA Windows agent with Windows Filtering Platform, Npcap, and a guided MSI installer.

Windows agent installation

The Windows agent runs as a service with WFP for firewall enforcement and Npcap for packet capture. Supports Windows Server 2019+, Server 2022, and Windows 10/11 Pro.

Requirements

✓ Administrator privileges for installation
✓ Outbound HTTPS to portal API
✓ Valid TRIVLA license key
✓ Visual C++ Redistributable (installed by MSI if missing)

MSI installer

Download TrivlaAgent-x64.msi from the portal or releases.trivla.com.
Run the installer as Administrator. Npcap will be installed if not present.
Enter your license key and portal URL when prompted.
The TrivlaAgent Windows service starts automatically.

Silent install (PowerShell)

On Windows Server Core, use the silent MSI install. Event logs are written to the Windows Application log with source TrivlaAgent.
